Thoughts on this Q8 Etron deal?

Hi All- This has not been signed so I don’t have the exact breakdown but what are the initial thoughts?

Q8 E tron, premium plus
MSRP: $83,340
Monthly after Tax: $750
MF: .00100
R: 55%
No MSD
DAS: $2900 (includes first payment)
10k/36

Should I add audicare to it? Thanks, everyone!

$750 is not bad, probably can ask Edmund’s forum to plug in the MF and residual to see whether that is similar

It’s probably the oldest EV for sale in America bar Tesla.

Not sure why one would even consider one unless it’s at a massive discount to newer, more efficient BEV such as the BMW iX?

Post your calc link.

Good question, for me personally, I love the Audi look. I am not the greatest fan of the BMW iX, although I know it’s a nice car. You’ll probably hate this but I am turning my Tesla lease in for this potentially lol.

Here is what this months incentives and MF/R is

.00100 MF and 55% residual
$7500 lease credit
$1500 dealer cash

Idk man. I own a 2024 Q8e and love it.

Deal is ok but could definitely be better. Those rebates are pretty weak. That’s probably the reason.

What is the pre-incentive discount?

It doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad car per se to be overpriced

I mean mine was $83k and I pay $670 after tax with Audi Care. Is that overpriced? I agree at $850-900/month it’s overpriced. But on the same token, you could argue a Tesla is overpriced or a Lyric is overpriced or any number of other cars that would’ve probably cost me more money per month, despite having a lower sticker price, and nowhere nearly as good of a car.

8000 in rebates and noncash credits.

$83,340 MSRP
$76,358.30 cap cost
$8,502.41 cap cost reduction
$46,771.20 Res value

One month of the 36 payments is waived in CA
$694.04 monthly payments before tax
$750 after tax
$778.06 after tax and audicare

really trying to figure out how to get the numbers to work out correctly on the calc

Have you compared your offer to broker deals in the Marketplace ?

An arbitrary number like MSRP really means little to nothing here. There was nothing stopping Audi from assigning a MSRP of $100k or 68k to the exact same car, and suddenly the same lease payment looks artificially a lot better or a lot worse.

But that’s just optics. Nothing changed in reality.

A similarly equipped Lyric would be a lot less than the OP’s price for a Q8e so I’m not sure why the Lyric would be overpriced?

The problem is a similarly equipped Lyriq will not drive as a Q8e. I had a friend with a Lyriq driving my Q8e SB and he said it’s just not even close (I did not drive the Lyriq…) the range is about 280 with AC always on in Cali. My was 85k msrp, 15k, 24 months, 778 a month with 2k down

Not sure why compare GM made vehicles to Audi. Not knocking GM but the drive, the quality in materials inside and out is far superior on the Audi.

The effective monthly looks relatively comparable to what brokers are offering, but a calc would be rather useful since you’ve posted some information/numbers that seems conflicting.
