Thoughts on Tesla Model 3 RWD -2025 lease offer in Texas

So i got an offer for leasing a 2025 Model 3 RWD(24 months / 10K Miles) for 556 per month with 1438 due at signing ( includes first month payment). The APR seems pretty decent (2.96%) but it looks like the full Sales Tax of 2,758$ since this is in Texas is pushing up my monthly payments. Do we thinks its a good deal considering there is no other way around the Sales Tax.is this the best we can do trying to lease a Tesla in Texas?

There are a lot of EV options on the market that you can get into at that price point that are much, much nicer. If you’re set on a model 3, it is what it is.

Look at the Cadillac and Audi deals in TX. Lots of vendors offer tax credits on models they want to move.

At this part of the month most Audi dealers are tapped out on lender tax credit.

@mllcb42 which ones are you referring to , other than a Chevy Equinox which i did not like all the other EV options came more than the Tesla . The Cadillac , Volvo , BMW options were at least 200-300$ more than the Tesla considering the down payment + taxes.

Are you basing this statement off of actual target deals you have put together or off of dealer advertisements?

Look at the signed deals of i4, optiq, Lyriq. They can all be had cheaper than the Tesla quote you reference, depending on which incentives you qualify for.

I mostly looked at advertisements and then divided the down payment they are requiring by the number of months -24 to get to an average value . I am not even sure the advertisements include taxes+ other fees . Since i am in Texas , i will probably get a pretty heavy tax bill no matter which EV i lease.

This is a horrible waste of time and in no way informs what things can actually be had for.
