Have received an initial offer on a 2019 Nissan Rogue SV AWD. ( I visited this dealership 2 weeks ago for a test drive but left without purchasing/leasing because I definitely wasn’t feeling the numbers which also made me realize I wasn’t educated enough on the process enough either ). The manager has been contacting me ever since so I guess this isn’t an initial offer but a start-over offer…Anyway, here it is…And I realize it’s not great…Just wondering how best to move forward.
MSRP $29,185
Sale Price: $ 27,949
Minus Lease Rebate - $2025
$488 due at signing. $350 p/m 36/12
Everything adds up in regards to MF and residual factor…However, I’m not prepared to pay $350 a month for a Rogue…I realize I can put more money down to lower the payment but not approaching it from that angle…Their sale price is only 4.2% off the MSRP and someone had suggested that 10% off is doable on a Rogue…Does that sound realistic and should I just shoot back an offer of 10% ( or more ) off??
There are 2 other Nissan dealers in my area that I’ve reached out to but to date, all I’m getting are “Come on in”…“And Great News!!.. I can put you in a new Rogue for $350 a month”…Just like the above, I guess.
Any thoughts/comments appreciated.
