Thoughts on July Offer - 2017 Audi Q3 2.0T Premium Plus Quattro

Hi all,

Wanted to share the first offer I have on a 2017 Audi Q3 2.0T Premium Plus Quattro (AWD) and my counter. It’s the last '17 they have, and are chalked full of 2018’s - I can also tell they’re pushing at the end of the month, so I’m hoping this all works to my advantage.

Here’s the rundown on the current offer:

  • Southern / Central California
  • 36 months - 10,000 / year
  • Monthly: $417 a month including tax
  • MSRP: $41,425
  • Price before Mnfg Rebate ($1,417): $37,973
  • Adjusted Cap Cost: $36,520
  • CashSalePrice: $35,625
  • Residual: 61%
  • Acquisition Fee: $895
  • State DMV Fee: $379
  • CapReduction: $495
  • Mnfg Rebate: $1,417
  • MF: .00145
  • Sales Tax: 7.75%

And here’s my counter:

  • Get the before-rebate price down to: $35,750 from $37,973
  • So with the above minus Mnfg Rebate ($1,435) comes to $34,315

With that, my calculations are showing:

  • Monthly Payment (Tax Included): $349
  • Total Drive off due (Sum of the below): $1,769
    • Acquisition Fee: $895.00
    • State DMV Fee: ~$379.00
    • Cap Reduction: $495.00
  • I’m also asking to get scheduled maintenance included - it’s a great selling point for an X1 I’m also looking into.

Let me know if you have any thoughts, questions, etc on this lease. I’ll circle back with updates and whether or not the deal actually works out. Can’t thank this forum enough for all the knowledge, help and general awesomeness. Thank you!

I can’t speak to the pricing but as someone who cross-shopped the X1 and Q3, make sure the Q3 has adequate cargo space for you. The X1 is considerably larger in the hatch.
