Have rented a few Jeeps and each time I get unprovoked waves from other Jeep drivers.
Old news.
Starting to get similar waves from Tiguan drivers when I’m driving the Tiggy.

I’m in Carlsbad, CA and had the 2018 Tiguan for a little over a year, and I’ have never seen anyone in a Tiguan wave to me. But I have been tempted to wave at other Tiguan owners. I’ve owned a CJ and a TJ for about 20 years of my life, but I’m getting old and can’t ride in a tractor anymore.
Must be a new way of giving the finger. I mean we all know how nice SoCal people are especially in heavy traffic.

I have a Jeep in So Cal and I never get the wave. 
I do a mental wave every time I pass by another Jeep GC. I also am more courteous when giving up my parking spot lol. May be a sub conscious thing.

Jeep wave seems to be mostly Wranglers for me. Don’t think GCs are wave-worthy.
Yesterday, a limited Tiggy waved to me in my ‘regular’ Tiggy. Definitely not giving me the bird, just going slowly in the opposite direction. ‘Course bein in LA I shoulda _ _ _…
