The best of CL, forums and other private party used car sites

Several of these are showing up in Denver at double the initial price…it’s good looking but…that’s quite the markup. A similar one is only asking $90,000.

Is the third row original?

I have no clue about these cars but looks OEM.

Love these - but beware, the roof drainage has some kind of poor design that ends up with water leaking into the hatch and destroying all of the control units in the back, the battery, and just having a huge pool of water.

Good price if it checks out

Never seen a Topaz Blue interior before. Reminded me of funky interior colors of the M3forum.net member cars.

I didn’t know the clownshoes were made in SC.

I knew they were made here but now that I check, I had no clue they produced E36 3 series in SC for 3 years as well. But makes sense since Z3s were pretty much E36s.

Wait what? BMW was importing E90s from Germany and South Africa but they’d been producing E36s in America?

Why did they stop 3-series production here (their largest market) after all that trouble?

I am guessing they had to choose between X cars and 3 series and X cars made more sense to them.

Speculation but weren’t they ramping up production of the 3 series in Mexico in that time frame?

As @Batistuta mentioned, if you had to choose, might as well make the X series in the US.
