I figured paying all fees upfront and not rolling them into the lease would be smarter to avoid paying APR on that amount?
It wasnt about a specific monthly payment but more about maximing the $2000 costco incentive, $1500 audi lease incentive, % off MSRP- I got 9%
Also I wanted the base MF which is .00079 and the Residual for 36/36k was 53%.
Low aquisition fee of $895, low dealer fees $160, and tax credits.
The money I pay upfront, $2500, will cover 1st months payment, aquisition fee, dealer fee, remaining 1% tax so that was I dont pay interest on that amount.
Anyone care to explain what I am not understanding with the deal or what I am missing? I dont think we could get more than 10% off msrp max in texas and base mf at this time.
The money due upfront appears to be $2709, not $2500.
The above posts were mainly poking fun that the dealer structured this with $20 in cap cost reduction. Often times, this is done to make a DAS amount round (say, actually $2500) or to push a monthly below a threshold (say, $499 vs $500). This is case, with $760 not really being near any emotional thresholds and $2709 not being a “round” number, it seems to just be a silly, arbitrary amount.
Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Chris for hooking this deal up and saving me so much time and aggravation. The car was shipped across the state and delivered to my door yesterday.
I am glad that I made this lease agreements at the beginning of this year and also purchased a 2021 honda odyssey. If i would have waited another month or so I would have been out of luck.
Thanks again Chris. Looking forward to ordering that x7 m50i with DHP and the audi rsq8 when prices and inventory stabilize and costco has some more deals
