Tesla Ordering Tips - And Most Other Reasonable Things Tesla

Same, except the interior space and quality etc is excellent. I just couldn’t deal with the jerkiness of the power delivery and the fairly noisy experience. I really wanted to love it, but just couldn’t get over those issues.

I’ve been reading and watching reviews of the Rivians, and they’re actually very capable off-road vehicles, more than any Tesla or Subaru models. I know that most people won’t take them off-road, but I think ride quality had to be sacrificed for off-roadability. I think Rivian would have been a little more successful if they had made their vehicles less off-road capable and more road friendly.

Edit: This is probably why Elon has kept pushing back the launch date of the Cybertruck. His ego hurts his brands, and I probably not the best person to work for, but he’s still a visionary.

Does this mean new Model Y is coming soon???

When?

Fuck the CVAP. I couldve gotten a Y if they had more funds. Its probably a customer reject, but still

So that begs the question…if someone were to place the order for it, then find defects that result in the car not meeting their standards to take ownership of, does Tesla send a new one and you receive the same price or will the price change on the new one (assuming same options/color/etc)?

Then they’re shopping the wrong brand.

How long before the MMR reports on used X-S reflect new pricing?

Anyone have MMR on the Model Y standard?

MMR Updates… 9-01 (w-o-w change)

2023 TESLA MODEL 3 2WD 4D SEDAN BASE MMR $32,300 (-$300)
2023 TESLA MODEL 3 AWD 4D SEDAN LONG RANGE BASE MMR $39,500 (+$0)
2023 TESLA MODEL 3 AWD 4D SEDAN PERFORMANCE BASE MMR $44,400 (+$400)
2023 TESLA MODEL Y 4D SUV LONG RANGE BASE MMR $45,000 (+$100)
2023 TESLA MODEL Y 4D SUV PERFORMANCE BASE MMR $47,800 (-$600)
2023 TESLA MODEL X 4D SUV BASE $78,500 (last sale)
2023 TESLA MODEL S 4D SEDAN BASE $78,500 (last sale)

2022 TESLA MODEL 3 2WD 4D SEDAN BASE MMR $28,900 (+$0)
2022 TESLA MODEL 3 AWD 4D SEDAN LONG RANGE BASE MMR $33,200 (+$100)
2022 TESLA MODEL 3 AWD 4D SEDAN PERFORMANCE BASE MMR $39,800 (-$400)
2022 TESLA MODEL Y 4D SUV LONG RANGE BASE MMR $42,600 (-$500)
2022 TESLA MODEL Y 4D SUV PERFORMANCE BASE MMR $43,800 (-$100)
2022 TESLA MODEL S 4D SEDAN BASE MMR $65,400 (-$200)

2020 TESLA MODEL X 4D SUV PERFORMANCE BASE MMR $60,900 (-$800)

As far as over time depreciation goes, this past week was not that bad.
It will take some time for any new auction results to move the MMR.
In the past, after such Tesla pricing changes, the market will usually freeze.

Do you know where the base Model Y goes? Is it lumped in with the Long Range?

It has the same battery, so the range claims are, as usual, overstated.

The numbers from that review are WLTP numbers. The numbers always used here in America are EPA numbers.

The EPA conversion of the WLTP number are

RWD: 307 miles
AWD: 371 miles

Much more in line with what would be a small efficiency improvement.

Unfortunately used MS/MX prices haven’t adjusted yet. Hopefully soon.

Give it a couple of days and it will

Owners still in shock. Give it time

Has anyone successfully used the Tesla loyalty rebate? I’m looking on the app and it says I can qualify for $1,000 off since I currently have a Tesla.

Yes it will take 1k off the price
But use a friends code instead they will get points + you will get the 1k off

I don’t think you will get points if you refer yourself
