Based on the EV market though, I feel like the TM3 is the best bang/buck.
For reference, I drove a 2016 golf with about 80 miles range for a few years. My round trip commute to/from work is 60 miles a day. So I should be able to get the cheapest model 3 and have more than enough range.
I wouldnāt get a current Model 3. A heavily refreshed Model 3 is about to be released in a few months.
What if the price of that is much higher?
What if thereās a wait time for it?
What if the first deliveries of that one are in 2024 when OP loses the 7500 credit?

BTW, I ordered a Model Y for someone but then put that on hold this week and ordered an M3 from inventory that Iāll pick up this Friday for the listed price of $37830.
The M3 after destination fee (1390), Registration, Fees, and Taxes cost $43105.
The person I am getting this vehicle for qualifies for the $7.5k federal and $7.5k CVRP. Making the final cost around $28k.
Although I hate that the Tesla loan APR is a bit high, and with a minimum downpayment ($3385), it comes out to be around $650/month for 72 months.
Waiting for the new M3 did not make sense to me.

Why wait? Buying an outdated package right at the end of lifecycleā¦depreciation. Everyone on this site is always so concerned with MMR.
