I found a tesla inventory car, 2018 P100D with delivery miles, white on black, 21inch wheels, sunroof, fully loaded.
Original MSRP is $146k, with a $40k adjustment. Destination is $1200, They will also take off ludicrous mode (another $20k) and add in full self driving for $3k so comes to a final selling price of $90k
10k miles per year
36 month lease
MF 0.002396
RV $66,176
$3750 federal credit is rolled in somehow
Drive off is $7k including $5k down (I could roll it in), first months payment etc)
Monthly $850 inc. tax
Also they are saying if I take delivery in April the financing might be slightly more expensive. Any thoughts if this is likely to be true?
I don’t think Teslas lease very well in general, but that’s an awesome price for a P100D with auto pilot. Although ludicrous mode… can you even put a price on that?
Doubt you’ll get $20k for the ludicrous mode. The price increase from $15k to $20k happened at midnight on the 20th. If anything you probably get the $15k.
A 2 year lease has even slightly lower payments (~$50/month) with same drive-off amount etc. Car would be more expensive to buy but I would not plan to do that (like to change cars every 2-3 years). I’m tempted to do the 3yr as its such a great deal and I don’t know if I would find anything as good after just 2 years but any thoughts on whether the 2 year would be better? Do Tesla allow you to extend leases? Thanks!
I think I’m going to go 3 yr even though monthly payments on 2yr are a bit lower. its the $39k adjustment but residual remaining the same (and ability to remove ludicrous) that make this such a good deal. Unless prices drop substantially again I cant see this being repeated in 2 yrs
