Tesla Leasing their Pre-Owned cars, cheap (CA and TX only at this time)

How old is that X?

Because I see first gen model 3’s going for $20+

It pencils out better on 24 because you’re paying sales tax on the sale price regardless of the term length.

Mine’s 10K flipped depending who you ask but it’s got Free Unlimited Supercharging so it’s staying put.

$2000 shipping charge suggests the vehicle is not in Texas and needs to be transported to your delivery location. Looking at the autocheck for this unit, it appears to be in Nevada. I would try to find a unit that is in Texas.

Even in Nevada they’re making at least a g on shipping to Texas. Shouldn’t be that much at all…

I looked at a few dozen, all offering $1000-2000 shipping. It’s also worth noting that the distance filtering function just didn’t work for me.

I’d agree. I think baking in $2000 for shipping across the board is a bit of a stretch.

I’m looking in San Francisco, and I see a few for $230/month with less than $2000 total down for 24 months. $305 net per month give or take.

Here is the cheapest available MY unit for TX, it’s in Houston with no delivery fee if picked up in Houston. Delivery fee to Austin is $500- 2021 Pre-Owned Vehicle with 51,532 mi VIN 5YJYGDED2MF124280

This is the only MY unit available in Austin with no delivery fee- 2021 Pre-Owned Vehicle with 30,018 mi VIN 5YJYGDEE5MF233986

Both links are now dead because the units have sold since posting.

Bear in mind the car will only be in (limited) warranty for the one year in lease (this too deserves some clarification to be sure it isn’t just on finance/cash transactions)

I’d stick to lower mile examples still in original warranty period if at all possible as long as the savings remained substantial over leasing a new one.

It looks like all of the cheaper inventory in CA got gobbled up (mid $20k or $230-250/month). Now the cheapest are in the $30k range and north of $300/month.

Just to show that if the price it right there’s a lot of demand for these cars.

Just saw a $187/mo deal in my area go out right now. I was looking it up and it got sold!

What are the DAS on the payments that people are throwing around here?

Usually up to $2K DAS including tax and fees

It shows on the website when add tax and fees checkbox is ticked.

I saw prices as low as 117/mo with 2k shipping extra though I bet they are only valid for cash and financing . If not, someone can technically go get the car and drive back to Ca or TX.

Which brand?
