Looks way better in all black.
The rear window is non existent, guess it’s like driving a u haul truck you just have no idea what is behind you
The CT doesn’t have a digital mirror?
Cmon man you never need to know what’s behind you ![]()

Is that even legally enforceable?
I know in Cali they try to do that with new homes but I see people relist their homes within 6 months of purchase.
so now that there seems to be no flipping of Cybertrucks, how many reservations are going to not materialize at all?
It’s crazy they’re popping that in there… I can see it with the Z06, Hummer EV truck thing, etc. but not with this mass produced crap box.
@z0lt3c is already thinking of ways to have a LLC acquire the Cybertruck, then lease the vehicle for 13 months with a forced buy-out at the end of the term. Flippers gonna flip.
Elon better not forget about mememmememe
For you, the scheme will be where you swap VINs off a Mirai and put them on the CT. There will be a registered hydrogen powered pickup truck for sale soon.
These type of resale restrictions have been discussed before. We’ve even had some of our resident LH legal experts review them. I had to sign one of these restrictions when I purchased my early delivery Lightning, which I then sold 30 days later. If you pay in cash, or use outside financing, and do not accept any rebates or incentives, there is nothing they can really do, other then ban you from buying another Tesla, which they already do with serial flippers.
Although I have nothing against the CT, and I think it will be popular and help restore a little of Tesla’s mojo (because I own alot of Tesla stock) I personally am not interested and do not have a reservation. The truck I am waiting on is the Fisker Alaska.
That’s not nearly as interesting as dreaming up creative ways to finagle the no resale rule.
Like register a LLC and use that to buy the CT, then sell the LLC and assets to a new buyer without the car title changing hands. I know you all can be more clever than “buy with cash” hah.
Tesla already backpedaled.
I hope the build quality is a lot better than the pre-production Cybertrucks that Tesla execs are starting to drive around.
That’s a hard pass long before I saw the wiper
So now they are just driving these things around from car meet to car meet hoping that people will get used to the sight and start thinking well others are buying it, must not be as bad as all that.
I remember someone, hmmmm… who could it have been… literally deleting my post for saying that. Concerning.
I used to really want the CT… esp for the design and I was really into the Tesla ecosystem.
Having experienced other EVs and a short time back into a truck, it’s not for me… but I think this will be great for whoever gets one.
Thing is a total POS. Gonna be biggest flop in automotive history
I feel like it took way long. When it was the only truck, only one with access to the SC network, and all the media buzz is a completely different landscape than today. Aka the excitement has passed.
