Def laughing at you saying 750k
Gotta love competition, it looks like if I include my state incentive, I can lease an R1T (with 354 mile range) for under $800/month and $0 DAS. I hope the CT ramps quickly so that Rivian leases get cheaper. I drove an R1T twice and it is definitely tempting even at the current price point.
Me vs the the guy she told me not to worry about
The Roadster has a big single front wiper too.
Before and After taking Rectix
Why? The incel Camino is junk. Watch some of the recent cyber truck YouTube videos. Absolute shit trucks
bad chart redacted.
The numbers make zero sense. Every single row shows that if you add the range extender to the vehicle that the Total Range IS LOWER than without the range extender. With such a glaring error, it’s hard to put any faith into the rest of the numbers in the table.
The original post is here;
I did miss some updates. Honestly wasn’t even looking at RE rows. Latest chart.
As expected, only 60+% rated range at 80mph. My model x only got 200 miles on highway vs rated 300+. This is such a scam. My EQS suv can get more than rated range at 80 mph.
Not terribly impressed so far but it was mid 30’s outside with 10kt headwind so I doubt an iX would have fared much better aside from having a larger pack.
Hey everyone, I just received an email about reserving a Tesla Cybertruck with a promised delivery by mid-2024. I’m curious about your thoughts and experiences. Is it worth placing an order for the Cybertruck? Would love to hear any insights or opinions before making a decision. Not in mood to keep it but flip it, any possible chance?
I totally forgot I received the email from Tesla right when I left town for the holidays. I guess I also need to decide on taking my CT delivery.
I think it depends on what model you get… the cheapest one you can get will probably have some room to flip but didn’t Tesla reinstate the “no resell” clause?
I used to really want the CT but for practical truck things… the Lightning is probably the best… although every R1T owner I talk to raves about it (weird that the Rivians don’t have a proper rear step bumper).
Cheapest one if 100K for foundation series.
The “rated” range is not at 80MPH. It’s for 55% stop and go traffic. Go on fueleconomy.gov and check the highway rating. I agree it’s frustrating, I’ve had a similar experience with Tesla (and some others), but they are not lying; EPA range is not highway range, even the highway estimate number itself is likely not at 80 MPH, I assume it’s at 65MPH.
That being said, the EQS does get very good highway range. If you look on the same website, you’ll see that the EQS sedan is more efficient on the highway, and the EQS SUV is almost as efficient on the highway as in the city, which suggests the sedan will get over the EPA range on the highway.
I have the cyberbeast option. I guess i selected the expensive trim in my initial booking.
