Wow these models were getting long in the tooth but still shocking to see them actually get killed off… for robots…
Maybe a full size suv soon
This seems to be them working towards making it official: Tesla is not a car company.
Based on what? Common sense?
There seems little of that at Tesla at the moment. We all apparently want evil looking robots wandering around our house folding our underwear for “$20,000” *insert Dr Evil bunny ears*
it’s not a car company anymore. it’s robotics / AI first and then cars a far behind second. Ketamine and a cult of personality will do that to you.
In other news, GM has canceled the Pontiac Firebird
The S and X were always “toys.” The MY and M3 are the breadwinners. His move to nuke Autopilot was smart from a business perspective as well.
A robot company that sells no robots. Just beautiful
Tesla is no longer interested in making cars. They are interested in making cabs and robots. I can’t recommend them to family and friends anymore. Even though the 3 and Y are solid, I can completely see Tesla phoning it in for these cars as they transition their product lines to autonomy and, ultimately, killing those cars off as well.
They are definitely interested in making cars. Just vehicles that are not driven by humans. They are morphing into an ai/autonomy/energy company.
Tesla just brought online the first major lithium refinery in the US. Producing battery grade lithium not just for robots.
You mean they’re pivoting the grift.
The notion that trillion dollar companies can just flip on a dime the entire goal of their company is hilarious. First it was a car co, then it was energy, now it’s robotics. You cannot make this stuff up. It’s a grift, it always has been.
Just hilarious how dipshits will actually sign up to buy cybertrucks which are the biggest POS cars to have been ever created with hilariously bad QC
MX was pretty much dead when the MY was announced… even though it was (slightly) bigger, it was quite hard to find justification for the price gap.
