Would be interesting if any dealers in here have insight on what NADA is telling its members re prices and availability going forward. They should be really clued into the situation giving the political makeup of that very effective lobbying group.

IMHO, they have the same insight as all of us. No one knows how this end since it’s all based on one person’s stupid whim. There’s no Mnuchin & Cohn around there this time.

Any Audi vehicles arriving at U.S. ports after April 2, 2025, will be held until further notice, according to an internal memo shared with dealers today."

BMW is absorbing the costs of added auto tariffs—but only until May 1.

Hyundai and Genesis North America CEO Randy Parker warned dealers that vehicle pricing “is not guaranteed and may be subject to change” for units wholesaled after April 2, according to a note sent to dealers.

VW is pausing rail shipments from Mexico and plans to hold imported vehicles at U.S. ports until it figures out what to do next.

What to give up? Have you seen how the WH calculate each country tariff? That is not the real tariff this country applied to US goods. How can you fix something that is made up?

Italy’s luxury carmaker Ferrari said last week that it will raise prices on certain models after April 1 in response to the new U.S. auto tariffs, adding up to $50,000 to the price of a typical car.
