How much of a dealer discount is achievable these days on a new Jetta? I’m based in AZ and happy to go to CA.
Is 15% too ambitious or realistic?

15% off is a low ball offer, especially on a 24
Im at 11% off on my last couple 23s in CA
15% pre-incentive on just about any car is not realistic. There’s a rare unicorn out there, but you will have to hunt for that. And most CA dealers will not do out of state deals unless there’s a significant ADM.
Good luck.
Thanks for the feedback. I leased 2 Jettas from a Norcal dealer back in 2016, with a 30% dealer discount off MSRP (at buy-rate MF), and the dealer was happy to do an out-of-state deal for me in AZ. I recognize that times have changed so I am trying to get a pulse on what is possible. This is helpful.
30% pre incentive? That’s insane. What was the MSRP and what was the agreed upon sale price (pre-incentive)?
25K car
30% off is 7.5k
residual of 50%~12.5
17.5-12.5=5000
plus taxes fees and interest
probably ~$250 a month?
