What exactly is the Sports Appearance package?
I agree with you. It beats the 1% rule which is just a general rule of thumb for what constitutes an acceptable lease. But beyond that, I really don’t think there’s much value in paying $500/mo for an entry level Mercedes.
I think the OP is stuck in the same rut as the guy who’s trying to offload his $50k 3-series for $366/mo. It just doesn’t appeal to most people. Maybe it’s cause most of us here are enthusiasts, but I imagine people generally don’t want to pay premium prices for entry level luxury cars like the 3-series or C-class. Especially because most of the active users here set the precedent and already have ~$50k vehicles and beat the 1% rule by a comfortable margin. So something like this doesn’t really appeal to us, nor to the users who saw the types of deals we’ve gotten and aspire to them.
But in any case, I do hope the right person comes along and takes this from OP. The C-class has pretty nice aesthetics.
AMG diamond grill in front
Ahhh I believe it comes with the C43
C43 is an AMG car so that is their default.
The c300 should have the sports appearance package available. Maybe not on the sedan?
I was looking at c300 coupes with sports package appearance and it has the AMG diamond girl (nowhere near the engine power of the c43 of course)
Ya definitely not for the sedan. All they offer is a Night Package
Just stopped at NY dealer today and a c300 loaner with msrp of 48k and change was at 385. Driveoffs were 3500, which included taxes fees. This is without fleet discount, which is 1500 for c300. So potentially could be 340 a month with fees and taxes as driveoffs. Again, good price you have but it is kind of high when i could get a loaner E class for 535 a month plus drive off fees and taxes. E class had 61k and change msrp. Again, just giving you an idea really. You have a beautiful car, maybe just wrong time since anyone only wants SUVs. Post on leasetrader or leaseswap for better luck. I posted my SUV here too and no luck even though had no transfer fees and was .89% of msrp.
Ok well $3500 drive offs is about another $100 a month so it’s basically the same as mine (my msrp is higher) IF you consider fleet. Not everyone gets fleet. Mine also adds maintenance so I think it’s very reasonable especially considering the uncompetative Bay Area market.
Not just price but also because it is used car now. Lost 20% of value as soon as it was driven off lot. If you were negot a used deal you would not pay same price as new car so why would you assume a lease that did?
The reason many of us don’t do used anymore is that you never know what original driver did in terms of wear & tear etc. only makes sense if you want a much cheaper price which isn’t the case here.
All fair points, though I don’t buy into the 20% loss of value the second it’s driven off the lot. I think that’s an old adage that isn’t entirely true. If the clock has <100 miles the value is pretty much the same. Perhaps being second owner devalues it a little, but not a huge amount.
Realistically, OP will eventually have to heavily incentivize this to offload it. But it doesn’t make sense to do so until it’s sat for a while and gotten enough eyeballs. Someone may come around before he has to resort to that, but I highly doubt it’ll be someone from this forum for obvious reasons (unless someone is considering this, in which case GO GET IT!)
It’s actually the perfect car for me, I love that color combo. But I don’t need or want the Sports & Night packages or P02.
Then you should DM him and try to work something out! I’m sure he’ll be flexible as long as you’re reasonable.
I was simply comparing to a loaner which essentially is a used car. Can you even lease used cars other than loaners? I’ve lease transferred cars before and never had problems nor much difficulty. Perhaps I’m just a bit impatient but I’m sure there will be someone interested. If anyone can get a lease on a used car like mine but cheaper then all power to them.
Incentive now up to $1000! I will also cover June’s payment. Any takers?
There has been many inquiries if the car has Apple Car Play and the answer is no. Residual is ~$33500

You need more eyeballs. Put it on craigslist and swapalease.
Done already a while back
Then you very likely need to increase the incentive.
Ya perhaps you’re right.
