Have you had success in getting 30k worth of incentives applied?

As long as you qualify for conquest/loyalty and are in the right region, it’s no issue

Honestly I haven’t tried but with the Acura ZDX but this is not with the type S just the A-spec?

A spec awd gets like $4-5k more incentives than type s

Strong residual doesn’t help you re-borrow the negative equity which is what you’d be doing.

You want to look for the lowest MF as you stated and in Texas you want to look for tax credits.

Start looking through Marketplace to see who has that.

Do you own this current vehicle or is it a lease?

If OP has a traditional finance on the current vehicle, then trading it in would yield some sales tax savings. Since in TX he will only be taxed on the difference between the cost of the new vehicle and the trade in value of the current vehicle. Of course, if current vehicle is leased this will not work unless you’re staying with the same captive on both vehicles.

Lender sales tax credits would be ideal though.

There should be a sticky that rebates and discounts don’t do jack as far as paying down, washing or wiping the negative equity. These are just words that salespeople use to hoodwink people who don’t know better. They’re just another way for a bank to lend more money to you.

Everyone who asks about rebates and NE apparently doesn’t understand that they’re re-borrowing it and then repaying every cent of it plus interest and tax depending on the loan/lease structure.
