Hi All,
My wife want a suv with 2nd row captains seats.
I had a deal last month for vw Atlas se w/tech captain seats, AWD, 1500$ d, 36m, 12k, 370 per month + tax. We didn’t take it. And now the same car the dealer want 450 plus tax.
Anyone has any other recommendations for another suv which will keep mu payments under 450?
Many thanks to any help.
Toyota highlander can be had nicely equipped for $370, maybe less, and 2nd row captain is a pretty popular option on those.
Dodge Durango and Toyota Highlander have the option for second row captain seats!
Definitely the new Chevy Traverse
Your best bet for that mo payment will be toyota highlander xle or hyundai santa fe limited.
Might want to change your title to reflect monthly payment requirements. As just because it’s expensive, doesn’t mean it won’t lease well (although that is more true with sedans than SUVs).
If you need SUV, then the GM offerings should be looked at. Also, have you completely ruled out minivans? Lots of them with captains chairs or a way to create them by removing center seat, lots of room, etc.
My Acadia has 2nd row captains chairs. I got the FWD SLE2 model for just about 38k MSRP, so AWD would be a about 40k if needed. Was effectively about 375 sign and drive 36/15k, or about 316 with tax, tags, first month, etc. (I paid 380 with first month down and 1500 in GM points because I rolled in over 2300 from a previous lease). This was last month so of course YMMV.
Chevy Traverse has some great deals this month too. Check them out. In SOCAL (Tustin) with 2000 down (including down and drive offs) you are looking under $400.
Acadia or Highlander. Acadia is great in all regards and has the nice $3000 Asian conquest this month
I think it’s only 1500 on the Acadia for Conquest. Still, good deals should be available.
Thank you all for the valuable information!
I’ve checked the Highlander, didn’t like the 3rd row, too small for adults.
The minivan, won’t happen, at least not with my current wife … (-;
the options I’ve checked was the Atlas and Traverse, but they told me the Traverse doesn’t have a Captain seats package, so I’ll have to pick the higher trims which the msrp around 55k.
Do you guys think I can find Traverse 2018 with Captain for lease under 450 including tax ? (1500d,36m,12k NorCal) ?
The Traverse should come with captains chairs in any model that has leather. The cheapest would be the 3LT trim and you should easily be able to get it for under 450/mo if you have a vehicle that qualifies for the $2500 Asian conquest discount.
I just got a quote (first one) from Weseloh Chevrolet in Carlsbad CA (Jon Randall) for a 2018 Traverse LT (not 3lt but 1LT) to give you an idea of discounts:
- MSRP: $38,210
- Discounts: $6,812.00
- Vehicle Price (after rebates): $31,398.00
- Lease MO: 36
- Mileage Allocation: 12k/15k a year
- Down: 0.
- Customer Cash/At Signing: 0
- 12K a year: 374.36 (including tax)
- 15K a year: 397.33
- Residual: $22,556.80 @ 12K a year
- Residual: $21,792.60 @ 15K a year
I got same quote for a LS and the monthly’s are not much different (10-20 bucks a month).
So $450 a month for 3LT with a MSRP of $46,015 (with zero down and zero customer cash) would be a great deal. If you get it please share the numbers.
BTW this includes the Asian Conquest (looking to see if we can get military too since he is in the Navy).
I wonder what you can get a Tahoe LT for or a GX460 for this month
The Traverse 3LT can be found with a MSRP of $43,000. Here is one in San Diego for $42,845.
- MSRP: $42,845.00
- Discount: $2,100.00 (Roughly 5% which should be doable.)
- Rebates: $3,250.00 ($750 Bonus Cash & $2,500 Asian Conquest)
- Acquisition Fee: $650
- Cap Cost: $38,145.00
- MF: .00073
- RV: 58%
- Tax Rate: 8% (Don’t know what his tax rate is)
- Lease Term: 36 Months / 12K a year
- Monthly with tax: $448.51
- Due At Signing: ~$1,200 (1st month payment, Tax, Doc Fee & Registration)
I don’t think it should be too hard to get it for this price.
Get in touch with @chevysalesgirl in Buena Park. She’ll get you a great deal and give you an awesome car leasing experience
That is 481.43 a month after taxes still over the $450 target monthly payment. Those numbers are probable and mine was actual. So the price would most likely go up then down.
Not sure where you are getting $481.43 from. The $448.51 monthly payment was including tax, it is $415.29 before tax. The deal you posted shows you getting about a 9% discount off of MSRP but you think 5% off is going to be hard to get?
Either way it doesn’t really matter unless he qualifies for the Asian conquest discount.
I included the 1,200 due at signing in the monthly payment.
But his post says he wants a payment of under $450 including tax and $1,500 down for a 36 month 12K a year lease.
