SUV sales on the rise in Europe

Euro normies have discovered the SUV. The elites are big mad.

Feel like the cities/their roads are going to inherently limit how many massive mom-mobiles get sold. X5s look massive compared to the average European small hatches.

When I was in France a few years ago with the family, we rented a Renault Espace. I don’t think it’s quite X5 size but not too far off. For the most part we had no issues and we drove all over the country, including 2 lane country roads, small villages, etc. Parking garages were the one place it was a little tight. Had to bring in the mirrors often. And Nimes streets seemed really narrow. But still manageable.

I grew up in European around small cars and to this day whenever I read/hear that an Audi Q3 is considered as a “family car” I just laugh on the inside. If you watch any of the car import channels there is a large appetite for Durango RT Escalade and Tahoe V8s and all are running on Prins gas lpg/cng systems.
