My Mazda cx-5 lease is up soon and I’m curious if the dealers near me (Los Angeles) are taking me for a ride. I’m looking for a compact or midsize SUV (Toyota Venza, Kia Sportage or Sorento, Rav4, etc.) Ideally hybrid but those seem to be extremely expensive right now. I’m getting quotes in the $400-$500/month range with $3k down. This feels bananas, but maybe I’ve just been out of the game for the last few years. Where do I start?
FWIW, I’m not interested in buying out my lease (it’s $18k and I don’t love the cx-5).
