Supposedly Volvo will be giving away up to $2mill worth of their vehicles IF Chiefs or Buccanneers get a safety. Already customized an S60 PE for the heck of it.
Well that’s an interesting way to get on Volvo’s spam mail list
Read the second paragraph…
"UPDATE 01/25/2021: Volvo will give away $2 million worth of cars this year if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Kansas City Chiefs make the two-point play in Super Bowl LV on February 7, 2021. Participants can build their Volvo here for entry in the sweepstakes.
The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will play for the Lombardi trophy next weekend in Miami, Florida, and in the unlikely event one of the two teams scores a two-point safety, Volvo will give away $1 million worth of 2020 cars to select participants."
Sounds like they copy and pasted last year’s promo and then updated with this year’s.
Don’t disagree, but I did it last year and have never received any sort of an email from them.
That’s because they sold your information to 500 other businesses to recoup the losses on their leasing portfolio
I have 2 leased XC90’s so they have my info already! Volvo did the same promo last year and I just built the same car as last year too. A V60 polestar wagon! Figure why not!
This is a clever promotion. Much better than paying $2 million to run a 15 second ad at half time
So excited about my upcoming free Xc90. I will be smiling when Brady gets a safety for intentional grounding.

Indeed it is better than wasting it on a commercial, especially if you already have a Volvo what information do they not have that you haven’t already provided to them lol
Sounds like your best bet here is to configure your vehicle to the exact spec of a current car in your local dealer’s inventory
This is very likely run by a third-party marketing agency. Check the disclosure to see who they’ll share/sell the information to.
I’ll be nice. I entered for an XC90 Recharge for the wife.
I’m not sure they’ll have enough V60 Polestars to give out since it’s the obvious model to choose
Well, so much for that one…
