Check your state for rebates - it may not cost you much to begin with.
I got it fully covered in CT from my electricity provider and then also get checks every six months from my for charging outside of peak times.
Got a $500 rebate to buy the charger and $500 to install it a couple of years ago. Had my first EV at the time and there was indication there would be another. But EV cheap leases are still here and I’m now full EV house hold.
