Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium - $273 or $308/m

So I have two offers on the table. The 1st requires me to drive to San Fran & register the car at my parents. The second is local (SoCal) but costs more.

Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium w/ eyesight, lane assist, etc.
#1 -
36 months / 12k
MSRP: $31,359
Sale Price: $26,222 + Fees
Drive Off: $895
MF: .0005?
Residual: 61%
Monthly w/ tax: $273

#2 -
36 months / 12k
MSRP: $31,185
Sale Price: $27,950 + Fees
Drive Off: $709
MF: .0005
Residual: 61%
Monthly w/ tax: $308

I am waiting for a response from option #2 to lower the monthly w/ tax to $288 which makes it closer to option #1.

What do you all think? Should I go through the hassle of driving up north and registering it up north for the savings? If they lower to $288/m should I take #2?

Why do you need to register the car at your parents place? Is that the requirement from the dealer?
Unless SoCal dealer lowers the price, I would take #1 and save $1200 and also see parents.
If you do decide to go with #2, please pass me #1

#1 has higher MSRP, have the dealer match it. But I wouldn’t go through the hassle of of getting #1 for $15 less, if you get #2 for $288

You have to register the vehicle within 200 miles of the dealer. My parents live in range but not me.

Ill definitely send it over! I actually found deal #1 on this forum

Yea if they get #2 down to $288 thats a sure deal.
