Subaru lease numbers

,

That’s what I got from a Subaru dealer:

Subaru Forester Premium with All Weather package (pckg 14) . Heated seats + mirrors and windshield, blind spot assist, rear cross traffic alert, standard emergency braking & adaptive cruise control.
Bucket seats and manual rear gate.

MSRP: $ 29,210
Selling price: $ 27,149
Money factor: 0.00165
Residual: $ 18,110
Taxes: $ 1,210 (8.875% Nyc)
36 months/10k
Due at signing: $229 (dmv)
Monthly: $ 390

Alternatively they offered $ 378 monthly with around $1000 DAS.
Forester touring will be more than $460 monthly.
Currently I’m paying $279 for similarly equipped Forester with lease expiring in January.
I told the dealer it doesn’t make sense leasing a Subaru with these numbers and he agreed that lease numbers suck these days.

That is awful, I’d opt for the bench seat.

Run fast and far from this offer.

I leased a 38k outback3.6 R for 375 incl all tax fees rolled in for 36 month 12k a year.

Keep looking or hire a broker, Subaru leases can be competitive but it’s all about the discount.

Yeah, I told him I’d rather lease a Lexus Nx for $460.
How long ago you got an Outback and in which state?

The 2019 Outback had really good leases when it was available but they are sold out and have been replaced by a newly redesigned 2020 model. Don’t expect to get anywhere near the same lease pricing on a 2020…

I’m about halfway through my lease it was a 2018 model, so it wasn’t a 2019 model before a redesign. I’m in Maine so heavier volume of awd up here and more dealers to compete for deals, since they don’t do as much dealer incentives like other brands.

They dropped the 3.6r engine for 2020 anyway so I’ll be driving brands next time my lease comes up.

My family is from ny and they’ve made two trips to Maine for Subaru deals. Both were purchases though.

Good luck to you

Hi Jeff, what is your rate? My zip code is 92673 and I’m interested in leasing a 2020 Subaru Forester Sport.
