Subaru Lease Loyalty

Anyone ever used the Subaru Lease Loyalty program? I heard there is some good incentives.

I’m currently on my last year of my 2017 Outback Limited Lease. Love the car but the payment seems to be way to high… $405 10k/36. Love the new waythe Forester looks… I was quoted $390 10k/36 for a Limited $1500 down. Thoughts?

You can do way better, target 13-14% off MSRP before the 500 dollar incentive. You should be at low 300s with tax with drive offs.

That’s what I’m thinking. I still have a lot to learn on this forum. Thank you!

That is very ambitious. I’d like to see the paperwork on that.

Nothing ambitious about it, had a deal ready to sign but decided to go with the Tacoma instead. Got to 14% off a 3.6 Touring with 3 days of emailing the dealership back and forth. This was back in February, MF went up but RV went up also by 3% on the touring.

What area are you in? SoCal dealers here are cutthroat.

I’m located in NY. I’ve never emailed dealers to negotiate a deal… seems you’ve had good success. Way better then driving all over. Anything you would recommend when writing to the different dealers?

I can get you 13-14 in Massachusetts no problem.

Are you carrying negative equity over from your Outback? Or is it coming to an end.

I’m located in NY. I probably going to be maybe a thousand-ish miles over… but not worried about the $200 or so. Won’t be rolling over into new payment.

Got it.

Let me know if I can help on a new one. 3 hour drive from NY but the rebates in New England are quite good.

Thank you, Michael. I will keep that in mind.

Sam was this on an outback touring?

Yes, if you’re in SoCal it’s not hard getting these discounts. Subaru Sherman oaks and Subaru Glendale were easy to work with.

Yes I’m so cal —trying for 36/45 as close to 300 as possible —- just did a outback premium 36/45 for 294 with 800 drive off for my daughter

Oh, my quotes were 36/10k, I think a 3.6 limited might be better for you. Not sure if you can hit 300, but it shouldn’t be too much over that much for 36/15k

Did u go to the internet salesperson or sales manager?

Also why Tacoma over outback?

I got 14.5% off without negotiating from the only dealer I contacted on LTD. But then they wanted to mark up MF

Just a way better deal and I really don’t need an Outback since we only have kid.

Her quote is for a Forester. Everyone else on this forums seems to be discussing an outback. Which is leasing well as in 6-10 months it will be a dinosaur.

Fwiw, I have a 17 outback and am not a fan. Woefully underpowered and awful steering. My 19 Forester is a much better car. But I don’t think you find a limited with options for that price.
