I’m still building my credit and got offered this lease on a Subaru my wife fell in love with. I’m still learning all this and unfortunately I found this site after starting negotiations but luckily have yet to sign. This is what I have so far.
Are there any marketplace listings or Signed! deals here (or any posts of Subaru enthusiast websites) to indicate what a good discount is? That might be a helpful starting point in trying to develop your deal.
7% off is not bad, maybe shoot for a bit more?
Yeah that deal is pretty good. They’ve given you the buy rate money factor and don’t seem to be hitting you with weird fees. The only thing worth trying to do if you need a Forester Wilderness ASAP is to try and beat a few more % off MSRP.
If your wife is ok with a previous loaner, here’s one that should be much more % off MSRP (and leasable) if they are willing to deal.
