I was looking for a specific 8-passenger model that only comes in Premium/Limited trims, and by the time Black Friday rolled around almost all 2024 Ascents with 8 seats were gone that the dealers had somewhat aggressively priced. I wonder how we anticipate the new 2025s will fare in December? Based on the experience of folks here, considering that they just released the models, are dealers expected to be aggressive about them during December?
One thing I also noticed is that Subaru itself ran a promotion starting only Nov 21st - meaning they weren’t offering those discounts even during November on Ascents. Can we expect a similar situation toward the end of December (meaning one should wait?)
Historically Subaru dealers don’t discount new models/years immediately. Your best bet is obtain VIP and order what you want if it isn’t a volume model that is discounted
Subaru has a partnership with ASPCA where you can buy - don’t know if it applies to leasing - any model at invoice by 1) making a one time $500 contribution or 2) donating $25 a month for six months.
