Some Camaro LT1 data points

Haha, i have to say the white with black ground effects really pops.

Interesting. I never got a single compliment on mine and it was Crush. Good thing I got rid of it

Everyone who complimented mine loved the Crush.

My black one does get compliments, particularly after cold start. Iā€™ve wanted to tint the windows really badly but donā€™t want to invest another $200 if Iā€™m flipping it in 3 months.

Reading these comments make me sadā€¦ I do miss the cold starts in the morning, even better at night when I havenā€™t left the house all day. Costco gas station is where I got the most compliments, always some white hair talking about his '79 lol.

But you are a little less sad after you look at your equity check.

Got my radio software updated to V155 yesterday. Seems to work a little better.

Just sold my LT1 to a local chevy dealer for $39500, payoff $37100 and msrp $41470 so net $2400. Not bad considering NY taxes lease upfront which was like $8-900 rolled in unlike @volnedan @spockvr6. Overall happy with sale and had a blast driving it for 4 months. Just like Spockvr6 said, I was getting real sad when driving it to the dealer one last time. The pops and bangs will be missed.

Great work! Yes I miss mine daily but still was worth it. Plus I think most of us went in assuming this would be a short lived ownership experience.

Now the next phase of fun starts for those who us of us who have sold the LT1. We get to watch the online dealer listings for the car and see how much they have marked it up

Mine is $42,900.

Must be the going rate mine is 42,987.

Or more than 3k over original msrpā€¦

They have a $1400 dealer fee  and donā€™t believe everything you see in FL dealer websites.

Mine is already sold. Initially they listed it for $39k few days after taking it in, but it was gone almost immediately. Gonna text my salesman to see what it went for.

Edit: salesman said it went at auction for more than he listed in one day. He didnā€™t disclose the price but he was happy and definitely made money on it.

Sold my 2021 LT1 Wild Cherry Tintcoat with 7xx miles and with the RS Package, Dual Exhaust, and 10A with an MSRP of $39,575 for $36.5K OTD to a local third-party dealer. Made a sweet buck but also contracted way too low miles to make money off of SAL so thought Itā€™d be best to sell it out. Just found out itā€™s listed at a used dealership in Arizona with an asking price of $46,900. Yupā€¦ $7,325 more than MSRP. Iā€™m genuinely curious as to how the heck they came up with that price.

IMO, its much better to take the $ via a sale than to pursue a swap with $ from a lease swapper.

So I found this earlier this morning randomly, the green looks incredible but Iā€™m not even sure itā€™s legitā€¦ it says it has red hot but clearly the pics say otherwise, they look a little photoshopped/fake though?

Not to mention the dealer is adding $5-6k+ in markup, what a steal!! :upside_down_face:my only inference is maybe they had a color job done and the dealer is adding that on, the Daniel Long special is definitely special :joy:

It has a wrap on it.

Yeah that was my guess, wrapped a previous red hot and theyā€™re asking for $5k more, they just donā€™t have the wrap listed on the price sheet.

Looks pretty good, youā€™d think they would of used a better camera, not the sales associateā€™s IPhone 2.

Well if anyone wants an overpriced army matte green manual.

OMG, thatā€™s revolting.

Do the seats come with cigarette burns, or do you have to do that yourself?
