Objectively even free is too much for a Solterra.

No, check acura ZDX right now.

no idea if this is a good deal, but is there a reason why you prefer the solterra vs some of the other (nicer) EVs which are leasing well right now?

There isn’t. It only because the price was cheaper. I haven’t been able to get any good offers from local dealers on Ioniq 5, Prologue or ID4

No dealer is going to “offer” you a good price. You need to use the data here to calculate a target deal and make them offers.

So what do you think is a good offer for those models in Maryland?

Find a broker to get you ZDX. If you check on marketplace, you should see plenty of them.

If free is too much for a Subaru then calculating the true value of a GM product involves dividing by zero.

Is this what your calc shows? 30% dealer discount before the 7500 subaru incentive…looks really good to me…CALCULATOR | LEASEHACKR

Very good deal by my perspective. Paying $100 more in FL. FL has no state rebates on EVs, and very little on the lot. Few Subaru dealers here, each have under 5 Solteras. Did a great deal on an Ioniq in Nov, 320 mo, can’t touch that now, especially in FL.

Deal check.
I have the following 3 offers in MD

Prologue Touring 36/10k with 0 down. 400/month
ZDX one pay 10,300 24/10
Solterra limited $329 36/12

What would you do?

ZDX.

It’s simply worth +$100/mo to me to drive a nicer car.

Also, it’s 24mo. If you hate it, it’s 1 less year.

There may be room in any/all of these deals (is that thicc ZDX deal for an A Spec?), but if this is the bottomline:

  • take the Solterra off the list
  • Not :apple: to :apple: but the ZDX (which has the Acura version of super cruise) is roughly $700 more over the 2 year term

I would probably choose the ZDX but if you want a longer term or shorter effective payment pick the Prologue. If you want the Ultium platform for less and don’t care about CarPlay, add the Blazer/Equinox to your list.

How many dealers did you contact? $9k shouldn’t be too hard in MD.

On a base msrp zdx, that would be 25% dealer discount before 11500 incentives to get to 9k one pay…are they really going for that cheap?
