I keep hearing that they literally see if it starts and within 10 minutes flat bed it away. How is this possible? Do they even look for wear and tear? Dents dings. History of maintenance???
They don’t really look to hard honestly. I sold my civic las year and honestly less than 10 minutes. My inspection was at night and the guy just looked around the car with his cellphone flashlight. Then he asked for the keys, got in the car looked at the miles and drove the car 3 parking spaces down. After that we went inside the house to sing the documents and then he give me the check for the equity I had on the car. That is it.
With GM financial the payoff was the exact same for a dealer as the customer. The only difference was the customer payoff included state tax on the purchase. The dealer payoff was exempt from sales tax on the purchase.

I was given the choice of ACH deposit or check at pickup for a $5 fee if I remember correctly. I opted for the check. The person that inspected the vehicle and completed the paperwork delivered the check at that time. A few hours later a transport vehicle picked up the truck.
Is the online chat working for anybody? So close to being done but they are either understaffed or overburdened (or both). Took almost 3 hours to get through yesterday and been waiting for a call back for at least 2-3 hours today so far. Chat never seems to work, never get past the robot.
Vroom is coming on top of Carvana consistently for the past 4 months that I’ve been checking. Range is $750-$1000 more. I’ll be looking to get rid of this SUV at the end of the year. Hope to get a good deal on a new SUV and get rid of the current one.
I have a Honda. Don’t know if brand/model makes a difference.
Yeah wait a week or so! My vroom was legit $3k below Carvana. Then randomly like 10 days ago I checked it again and it was within $500 of Carvana. I accepted it right away.
Sold my leased Jeep to Carvana yesterday morning. Their offer beat Vroom and KBB by a long shot. No bait and switch like KBB said there would. I got my direct deposit in the next day.
