I have a friend who may be interested in this. However, he has 15 payments left on a Rogue that he hates. Is Nissan offering any pull ahead? Do you know if they’d be more lenient on early termination if he’d get into a new Murano?

True. But how are the reviews on the Murano’s performance? My buddy hates his rogue, but I told him he must test drive this before terminating the Rogue lease early. Otherwise not worth the trouble.

I had a 2015 Murano SL Tech that I just returned on a lease for a 2019 QX60. The Murano was solid IMO. Had some pep, but definitely not the most powerful midsize SUV on the road. Smooth comfortable ride and nice and quiet in the cabin. The technology was good and the dashboard was very well designed. Not sure what changes are made in the 2018 or 2019 models, but I overall loved the car.

I can almost guarantee there’s no 15 month pull-ahead. 2 or 3 months at most. As far as early termination goes, he’d still owe 12 payments (assuming a 3 month pull-ahead). They won’t waive those. Unless he’s break-even now with what is owed and resale value, he’s gonna pay to get out.

Correct. Nissan is offering a couple months pull ahead. Rolling in remaining payments would prob still keep him at about $300/month which he may be ok with.

if you didn’t like the “pep” in the murano, not sure the QX60 will provide you with more pep

rather than speculating or taking the word from forum strangers, your buddy should probably try to test drive his next car to make sure it’s trumps the “shleppiness” of the Rogue

The QX60 in Sport mode is definitely a lot better than the Murano. 260HP vs 295HP even with the added weight feels much better on acceleration. He asked for some insight and I provided it. Not going to get into further comparisons as I don’t want to get off topic.
