MSRP? Miles on demo? Includes tax?

I got quoted 271/mo +tax on a new 2.0d Premium RWD one with MSRP of 44k.

Call David for details.

This is the deal I had.

Hell of a deal!

Really? You didn’t answer the most important questions.

If you actually read the post you’ll see all the answers that are pertinent to a lease.

For more details you can stop typing and pickup the phone and call the guy who gets paid to deal with you.

Stop promoting the guy, just answer @amasih questions. Or maybe you don’t have the answers and just happy with $255/mo? BTW, your deal may be a shit deal.

actually the way this forum works is that we provide each other with a LOT of information. That’s what helps us all help each other and get great deals. If you’re not willing/able to do that, quite frankly it’s not very helpful to the forum to just put some high level details with your opinion that it’s a great deal, when in fact, it might be a great deal, but might not be at all.

I only provided summary information here on what I got quoted because I already gave pertinent details on another thread.

Are you looking at a 3.0 premium at your quote? Where are you located?

but there is such huge variation in the XE line from the 2.0 diesel base trim all the way up the the 35t r-sport each with vastly different price points and lease details (MF/RVs).

determining if this a decent deal or not depends entirely on details not provided in the post.

The car is a 2.5t with base trim.

Its a lease for $255 a month tax included.

Unless someone is planning on buying the car, why would they need more info than what I already provided?

I’d like your point of view here.

Thanks

well I might not even Remotely consider inquiring about the deal if I know it’s for a trim I’m not interested in.

In general I think the point of this community is to reduce the dramatic informational asymmetry that exists between the seller and the consumer thus provide all of us consumers with the best possible data from which to make the best deal. Towards that end We should strive to provide a much detail as possible on the deals. It also helps everyone evaluate the quality of deals Because with the nitty gritty details we can use calculators to recreate the numbers and deconstruct how good the deals are and how they might be improved.

Not everyone lives in that market to take the car, someone else may pull the trigger outside of this forum. Sharing as much detail as possible empowers other members to know what kinds of discounts are achievable on different manufacturers and models from one dealer to the other for when they start hacking their own deals.
