I would check with Cody, pm him through his marketplace post.

I personally think 3209 drive off is too much, you put 2k in ccr which is a big no no.

I see, bummer.
I’ll try to get Cody’s advice.

Thanks.

Why extra 29 for gap? Isnt TFS covering it ?
SETF does cover gap.

Apparently, TFS does not include GAP, it must be a purchase option.

That is a rip off for GAP. You could have gotten it through your insurance for probably less than $100/year.

Going off the sale price you did pretty good, putting 2k down takes about $50/mo off the payment, in which case you’re still right around 1% if you factor in tax.

Punching in the overall numbers it looks really good on my end. $2175 under invoice

Unfortunately, State Farm does not offer GAP for leases. It must be a financed car through their institution for their GAP to be available.

Do you or anyone have suggestions on the GAP? If there is a 3rd party offering (here in SoCal), can I call TFS and cancel their GAP?

Thank you.

Thanks Cody and bfourey. It eases my mind to hear that!
Perhaps if I was a little more seasoned on leasing, I might have done a little better, idk, but I’m happy if majority says it’s a decent deal.

Thank you!

Is GAP even necessary? Seems like most Toyotas hold their resale value really well.

Still dont take a chance. The moment u drive off the lot, the value is atleast 4k to 5k lower. So even though they hold value for the longer term, not a good idea to do, god forbid if car gets totalled in first few days

Btw Geico also doesnt offer gap anymore.

Why wouldn’t you do MSD to get that MF down to almost zero? Instead of 2045 CCR and 3200 DAS

I have Ameriprise, and GAP adds $10 every 6 months

Thanks ultratech, I looked up Ameriprise, but they only offer GAP for insurance if you have a policy through them. But I wish Toyota Financial offered it at that rate!

So switch insurers…what you’re paying for GAP is insane!

I just did a similar deal on similar car (XLE AWD BIizzard pearl as well). 350 a month with 36/15k.
Similar sales price. But I did 2.4k MSD instead of CCR and did gap through my insurance (progressive) rather than TFS.

You can get a GAP insurance well below $50/year.
I got for $36 for my RAV4 through my auto insurance
