Sixt car sales (wholesale license?)

Sixt (the car rental company) has a car sales arm (sixtdirect.com) which sells their old rentals, but they only do wholesale.

I’m guessing that there are some good deals to be had with wholesale pricing.
Do any of the dealers/brokers here offer services to buy from wholesellers on behalf of a chump like me?

Why would you want to buy a former rental?

I’m looking for a 3 row SUV, nothing really leases well.
Buying new means losing a lot on depreciation.
So I’m exploring used and I’m reading that they’re usually well maintained, and that people ruin them is mostly a myth.

According to whom?

My last rental had a sticker showing the oil was changed at 10k miles. Great, right? Except the odo read 36k.

Buy a Honda, Toyota, Hyundai or Kia and extend the warranty for its longest option. Your TCO will be better than a former rental.

If you must buy a rental (I wouldn’t, as people like myself drive them), you can get one directly through Hertz.
