Silverado EV, who’s throwing in a reservation?

Lol because the RST is not a work truck

So it sounds like a 2025 lease is a better deal then? GM I think is offering 7500 if you finance on the 2024. What’s an insane MF? 8%?

It was 800 with 2k on a 75k ev

At the end of the day, a truck is a truck lol. I see wayy more “higher end” work trucks than I see actual “work/base” trim levels. Nobody really buys them unless it’s for the city or a company has an actual fleet of trucks. At least that is the case in my region.

And an EV anything is as far from a work truck as you can get lol.

Its the ultimate pavement princess

Its your landscapers dream coming down the block with it, screaming primmoooo

Its a really nice truck. An RST at nearly 100k would not really be considered a work truck. I plan to tow with it fairly frequently. I am looking for a good deal on one…a lot of them seem to be sitting on dealer lots. I figure eventually they have to lower prices or bring some incentive to move them. The 2025 are out now.

$1k a month is around 2.5-3x what a lower trim F-150 Lightning costs. Is it really that much nicer? Also, if you want to tow, shouldn’t you be looking at ICE trucks?

Mid gate (LT2 or RST) , Multi tail gate, range, and I believe more towing power is what the Chevy delivers.

Mid-gate’s flaw is that, when down, it requires the cab to be left open to the outside. Multi-pro tailgate is superior to Ford’s option, but they both have tailgate steps. Silverado’s range is a result of an absurd 200kwh battery, the GM drivetrain is less efficient. From a sustainability perspective, that’s alot of Lithium to pacify range anxiety.

59 MPGe highway is particularly bad.

Just like in an ICE the range drops by about half when towing. I tow our travel trailer probably a dozen times a year or a bit less. 440 miles of range means that it should tow 200 miles without too much of a problem. That’s the main reason for that large battery.

So I was able to find what I was looking for. Here is what leases on the 2024 look like. These are at 15k mi per year and of course could change.
