After we calculate a reasonable lease payment with the leasehackr calculator, how much do mark up is it reasonable to allow the dealers to make.
For example I got a calculated lease payment of $292 with $1400 das (leasehackr score of 12) but the dealer wants $443 with $1400 down. Is it reasonable to meet in the middle? They don’t seem to want to budge, even for 2018 models.
I am trying to look in LA and Riverside now.
Also, how much of an additional discount should 2018 models go for now that the 2019 are rolling out? For example if MSRP is $34295 for the 2018 base model, is it reasonable to ask for a discount in addition to the $7600 Honda rebate and ~$2000 dealer rebates (none of the dealers I talked to acknowledge this “dealer incentive/rebate”).
Also, anyone tried dealing with Costco deals? Is it true the negotiated price is invoice+500?

@Christine1208 the current Honda incentive for a 2018 is now up to $7900 ($300 more than my deal).
Add that to about $2500 dealer discount and you now have reduced the MSRP by $10,400.
Using 0.00021 MF and 40% RV, you should get around $340 w/ tax included and $1K DAS.
Is this the $320 mo, 0 DAS, 15k miles? How much down r they asking for?

This is what I ended up getting for 2018 base model today.
The DAS was actually 1400, not 1500.
I did get a better offer of $325 monthly (pretax) with %1400das (15k mile) or $309 monthly (pretax) with 1400das (12Kmile), but it was from LA 2 hrs away so I said forget it. Can PM info if anyone wants it.
Has the Clarity discount on 2018 and 2019 carried on into April?
Unfortunately 2018 has no lease support anymore. For 2019 check with Edmunds
