SIGNED! Rivian R1T Adventure Performance Dual Motor Max, $625/mo, 10k 36mo, $4073 DAS, $736/mo Effective

Hi All,

Signed the final contract today, pickup and pictures due tomorrow!

Calculator -

Actual MSRP - 84250 +1800 = $86050
Selling price inclusive of discount = $75275
Discounts = $10775
Rebate = $7500
Deposit/Downpayment = $1000

Got the F&F discount through a friend who works at Rivian. Overall cost is higher than the deals you’ll see for Quads because of higher residual but still a pretty sweet deal IMO especially since I got exactly the config I would have custom built.

Big thanks to everyone who answered questions and helped me understand basic leasing process - this is my first time leasing. A lot of the knowledge I gained wasn’t helpful in negotiating since Rivian doesn’t do that, but it helped a ton in understanding my contract and just knowing what I’m signing and I can’t state the importance of that enough. I’ll also be equipped for any future leases I sign, and help people myself.

Edit: Can’t figure out how to submit a “Signed” entry since there are no models listed under Rivian, if someone knows how I can get that done so I can have a SIGNED tag lemme know :grin:

Edit 2: long overdue pictures!

Im seeing the same error. Maybe one of the @admins can fix it on the back end?

Is there anything that would prevent this from being replicated in MA? What’s the best starting point, looking for a pre discounted model? Thanks!

For starters, you need an employee referral to get the $7250 discount offer.

The employee discount was only live for like 10 days in May so unless it comes back at some point in the future to clear out the 2024 Gen 1s, it’s not replicable.

It was live since beginning of May. IIRC, it started the first week of May.

There aren’t many 2023s left and the employee referral is not active anymore. You could get a 2024 Dual Large for ~$550/month in MA. Has to be under $78,200 and you have to put $7500 down plus fees plus the $1000 deposit for a total of -$11k up front but the state will send you $7500 back so it’s really like $3500 up front. I’d wait and see what they do to offload the remaining 2024s since they just announced the Gen 2 for 2025.

Yea now that Gen 2 is announced, they have a ton of 2024 inventory to get rid of. I imagine the deals will get sweeter sooner rather than later.

Like the other’s have pointed out the F&F discount is dead for now. But given MA has a good state rebate you may still be able to replicate this, you just gotta find the right truck. In fact, you may get a better deal since the F&F was restricted to 2023 models but the state rebate you have isn’t. Trying looking at 2023 and 2024 models available in your state and at least a few nearby as well that you may be able to drive and get it from.

It was live the entire month :slight_smile: just like April had the free stealth wrap. Maybe June/July will bring something else?

It’s not that simple. There’s a hard cap of 80k including destination fee on the state ev credit so you have to be under $78,200 msrp to qualify. That rules out quad by default and anything in the 80s. At best you can get a large pack with either your desired color or desired wheels. Plenty of Standard and Standard+ would also qualify but your choices are limited.

True but that’s considering you’re restricting to 23s. You can go 24 as well since F&F is not a thing anymore

Working on the fix on SIGNED!

yeah everything I said was in reference to 2024.
2023 are far and few between and mostly all above $80k which negates the state EV credit.

I see a Dual Large in store that would qualify

There was a silver one too for ~$76250.
Both gone now though.
Plenty 24s Large still available under $78,200 though.
Without employee referral there isn’t much difference price wise between 23 and 24 if MSRP is the same.

An update on my own vehicle : went to take delivery twice. Both times I was told on arrival that some of the sensors on the car are not working as expected and they can’t deliver the vehicle in that state. On the second day, I was mad that they waited for me to get there to check if everything’s resolved as expected. They sent me back in a loaner Quad R1T while I wait for them to fix my new truck :roll_eyes:
