How did you get the discount?
You can see in the other thread that we got a residual friends and family discount and a discount on the tires. I think they stopped honoring that.
Isn’t the discount here only $2,500? $91,650 - $89,150 = $2,500.
The discount is 3500, but then you have the 1800 delivery fee added in to the total agreed value of the R1S. That’s why in the contract you don’t see the original total. Rivian took the full R1S of $91,650 less $3,500. That then has the $1,800 added back in to make $89,950.
After typing this out, I see that I made an error in my original text for the post.
I wrote “Selling price: $89,150” when it should be either showing the correct discounted price of $88,150 or the agreed value in the contract that includes the $1,800 delivery fee that makes “$89,950”.
Either way, I think I made a mistake in my original post in saying “Selling price: $89,150”.
