I am still considering this car - I wonder how much of a deal they would give on an Engage+ 2WD. Would you be willing to share the dealer or broker details?

Why you did not get + version with bigger battery? I got venture + this month, that supposed to do 304 miles, but so far in cold NJ it makes like 240 miles only. What is your range?
Also why pay DAS 2000, its a risk in case of totalled car.

That’s a strong deal for CA, nicely done.

We haven’t seen a lot of Ariya deals outside of the northeast recently.

If you have a chance to share a calculator so others can learn from your deal, that would be appreciated.

$2000 DAS on an electric car in california is probably less than the taxes + first month + dmv. My guess is the dealer rolled the ACQ fee into the lease to keep it that low.

The + isn’t the issue for a bigger battery, the FWD Venture has the longest range of all the Ariyas.

Sorry for late reply. Got busy with work.

I would like to thank John (949-241-0676) from Nissan of San Juan Capistrano who quoted me numbers which helped me to work with local nearby dealer. His numbers were little lower than I got but I am in Cupertino, CA and didn’t wanted to drive to SoCal to pick up car. Actually he suggested me to work with local dealer. Initially local dealer quoted me $3k DAS and $293 monthly payment. But John told me that recently Nissan added State Lease Cash of $3680 (Program ID 23N2299NKP) which helped me to get this number.

Lot of people contacted me asking dealer info but I talked to dealer and asked me not to share info as he doesn’t want to bombarded with quotes. As a hint I say dealer is not from San Jose area. It is north of Bay Area.

  • version with bigger battery?
I already have IONIQ 5 long range version and we are replacing chevy bolt for city driving so we didn’t care about longer range and keep lower payment.

Here are rough numbers to get $280 monthly payment.

MSRP $48.9k
selling price $44.3k
Residual 62%
Money Factor – 0.00106
Total Rebates - $7500 (Federal) + $3680 State Cash = $11180
Cash down – 2k

Dealer where I purchased car mostly has AWD car. No Engage with FWD. Only rarely he gets Evolve + with FWD.

There is no Venture FWD, there is only a Venture+ FWD

With the exception of the Premiere FWD that was the launch/pre-order trim for the Ariya and has the 87 kWh, the + is used for all of the Ariya trims with the 87 kWh battery.

Otherwise, the only “non-plus” trims with the smaller 63 kWh battery are the Engage FWD and Engage e-4orce.
