SIGNED: New 2024 BMW M8 Competition Convertible - 15% off MSRP + $11k rebates = effective $1513/mo w/tax

,

My first time posting a signed here, so go easy on me if it’s not that great of deal.

MSRP: $156k
Term - 39mo/10k
Residual - 53%
MF - .00018 (did 7 MSD to reduce to .00138)

I did put some money down and pay fees upfront just because I’d rather see that lower payment each month, ha ha, but the effective monthly payment with 8.1% tax is $1513/mo

Another idea would be the buy the low mileage since these are still the same car since 2020 with limited updates around 10-15k mileage second hand around 60-65k for 48 month payments which is around $1400/month with 6% interest and own the car outright after the 48 month with an equity around $30-35k without the mileage limits. Since they are quite reliable if you keep the oil change around 4000 miles.

Had one as a rental in Germany. Thought about getting one after that, they drive so dang well. Merino leather is a treat

Def a good buy preowned. They absolutely tank in value. I’ve actually been considering one

I bought a 2024 BMW M8 Competition Convertible with 6k Miles.in August this year.

Alpine White with Ivory interior. My first M car. Love it. I bought my wife an X7 M60i. both nice cars. Great purchase. We bought the full extended warranty on both. I think it’ll be worth it.

Did BMW fix these V8’s? If so what year? I had a 2016 650M and the the TU v8 still had oil issues.

no they still blow at 60-80k
the M8 was my wifes favorite lease. We would never purchase a used M car. The shop that services our exotics has an m8 or two in at all times for engine issues. Theres a reason they tanked in value so much, the used car market prices itself by reliability, and these aint got it.
