SIGNED! New 2019 BMW 640i xDrive GT

,

Signed this deal 2 weeks ago. Very enjoyable drive so far!!

I was more passively looking for a good deal, and preferred a X5. But saw 640GT was on sale.
Spent one week researching around and ended up with this deal!
All other dealerships near me did not want to beat/match this deal, one mentioned that it would be a $7,000 loss for them.

Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2019 BMW 640i xDrive GT
MSRP: $75,860
Selling price: $54,500 (w/ $1000 OL)
Monthly Payment: $465 (before tax)
Drive-Off Amount: Minimum drive-off (1st monthly + fees) + MSDs (7)
Months: 36
Annual Mileage: 10k
MF: 0.00145 (0.0011 after MSD)
Residual: 54%
Incentives: $1500 (loyalty)
Leasehackr Score: 13.9
Leasehackr Calculator Link:

Since the car has been sitting for more than 6 months, the dealership agreed to do 4-wheel alignment, wheel balancing as well as full detailing for free.

Update:

Just received $1000 rebate from BMW CCA!! And expecting another $1000 payment from BMW for my special case.

This reduces my average monthly payment to $465 after tax. Leasehackr Score becomes 14.8.

@hym, congrats! I signed a similar deal a week after you! (No OL or Loyalty :frowning:) These definitely are nice cars, especially for the price! I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying it!

Great deal! Unlike most, I secretly love these cars… well the current generation that is. Post a picture or two!

Nice deal! Although different, I’ve always liked the look of these.

Nice deal!
I love the one that I just got as well. Very practical car. And, after being driven home from the dealership in an x1, I’m really happy I got the additional room :joy:.

Good point! Thanks!

BMW literally had no motivation move the 6GT and it’s discontinued already. Super good deal, just wish BMW puts more aggressive RV and incentives.

Your post about your 6GT was a big motivation! So thanks a lot!!!

Why don’t they have motivation to move ?

There’s $10k in flagship cash that makes a 30% discount before incentives possible.

That’s cool! I’ve seen dealers priced them in the 50K range with only dealer discounts (supposedly) if that can stack with the flagship cash there will be some good deals I imagine.

They probably are but they also realize if they jack up the RV, 2-3 years later hardly no one will take over them at that price unlike the 5 series. And honestly I think BMW knows that people who want this car are likely not looking elsewhere, so they are kinda holding back, but IDK.

Honestly I’m not sure how much extra cost it is to manufacture over an 540i XDrive but 6GT is $10k more expensive, BMW definitely has some room to move if they truly wants to get rid of them. But again, this deal is basically on par with the 540 prices reported here which is a very good sign.

Advertised prices include the 10k flagship. You’re not getting this for 40k…

BMW leases across the board have inflated residuals. Most of the time, you will not have equity at the end of the lease.

Exactly but not on 6GT. I’m not worried about equity on me, I was saying BMW worries about losing money on getting rid of these lease-ebd 6GTs if it were to inflate RV.

Inflated residual or not, BMW isn’t getting full boat on these from anyone.

Eh, IMO BMW is consistent when it comes to inflating residuals on 19 MY vehicles. They’re all around 10 points too high :).

And that’s just on top of offering generous (on many models) incentives.

Is it any wonder you can lease a BMW for what many domestics similarly equipped lease for?

How do even ask for ~30% off a new car! I get laughed for asking 15%!
