Hello all - first time and need help. In the market for a new BMW. Can some eval my deal on a new 2018 330e. Dealer advertising 20% off MSRP in GA.
MF .00228 (not negotiable per sale manager)
RV 61%
Term 36/10k
MSRP 50k
Cap red $39.2k (about 21.7% off all inclusive of credit/rebates and nothing else stackable)
1st month due $488
Payment $488 (taxes included at GA rates 7% on lease payment)
Did I just walk from a good deal?
***edited: Incentives qualified for is $6000 lease credit which dealer said includes $4001 federal tax credit and $1999 from Mfg. Plus $1k loyalty. Total $7k credit. Also got corporate fleet for $6k, but dealer said cant stack them.
Best they can do is 21.7% including all incentives from MSRP. They also shows me invoice for the car at 47k wholesale.
I tried to do business with same dealer on a different vehicle. I walked away because they didn’t budge on the inflated MF. how much did you get as a discount on the MSRP prior to the incentives? 9 percent? I think you should aim for 12/13 or even 14 percent discount before the incentives if they don’t move on the MF. I got 13% discount and told them either 15% or base MF and walked away. I didn’t love the car enough…
For the past month every single BMW dealer i contacted for various vehicles has been jacking up the already high MF’s.
Surprised since a lot of LH deals are being advertised with base rate.
Let’s see February numbers but I think am moving on after 8 years.
Really hope Volvo comes up with some rebates soon. Really liking that S60
I think you have to find the car they want to get rid of, even then the manager can be a complete a hole. That’s how my deal went, he was so bent that I was leasing one of his prized German cars for less than $275 a month that he didn’t care that the residual was screwed up and his numbers didn’t make sense. My salesperson had to bypass him and go to the F&I guy to straighten it out. And after all the that, the manager came out and begged for the survey, strange deal, I was stealing the car so I didn’t care.
They said CA has the state’s hybrid tax credit of 7k plus fed 4001 which is why they have better deal in CA. GA good luck and they said my deal is the best and very aggressive.
They are lying to you. CA has no rebate for this car…only for the 530e has $1500. The $6,500 Lease Credit for CA is from BMW and includes the fed credit.
curious to how you got the 7750 incentive? 6500 rebate and loyalty here in GA should be 750 - what are the other 500 for?
most dealers are giving me .00228 here…hard to get the BASE MF.
What are the upfront charges of 794?
if you take out the Trade equity you’re getting a solid deal…
Did you end up talking to some of the people i PM’d you?
No. I contacted the dealer back and ask about Feb incentives as its better. They adjusted and give a better #. Its still not what i would like it to be. For example, @joeblogs scored a 3 series at around $250 per month…one heck of a deal.
