SIGNED! MA 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Sport S - 24/7500 - $57,115 - $3,872 One Pay

,

Residual on these 2024s will drop (right?), but perhaps dealers are holding out for a bump in incentives to help move them off the lots?

It just makes no sense they are never going to be made whole on those. Better to cut losses and move on. Unless any dealers here can illustrate why that is not the case, esp with an admin coming in that is 100% anti EV (other than Tesla)

Need to thank @CambMA02141 for the dealer lead. Scored my own 1-pay for my daughter going down to Clemson for school. Red, black soft top. $56715. Negotiated 12.5% off MSRP plus $11500 rebates. $4583 for 24/12. Signed all at the nth hour. Will post in Signed soon. Will probably cost me more on insurance!!

It’s she going to be into that giant decal on the hood? I got them to remove it from mine

Good question. She goes to school in SC where most Jeeps have a flag somewhere on them. Great dealership to work with. Thanks for posting your deal and giving me the lead. Up to then I was tearing my hair out trying make a deal……

Great deal. You guys are killing me. I’ve heard back from only one of the dealerships I reached out to. Thought I could maybe nail one under the gun but no dice. These guys all seem to want to sit on these for another few months and keep losing $$$. Will see what programs they come out with for Jan. But congrats. Looks like a hell of a fin car to drive.

I am told at many dealerships the $7500 EV tax credit does not apply on leases. I was told by the Ford Dealership here that they could give me the $7500 EV credit but that when I do my taxes I would likely owe that $7500 back since the $7500 credit is for purchases- not leases?

The captive receives the credit when you lease, since you do not own the vehicle. However, some of them offer incentives in the form of the credit.

Congrats! What was your messaging to the dealer to make them play ball? I haven’t had any bites yet.

Sounds like your dealer has NO idea what they’re talking about LOL Might want to find a different one.

thanks to Leasehackr, I had a signed deal in my area that I shopped around to dealers…. And it was only that originating dealer that would match/beat it. I was really in market for model with Sky One-Touch but best offer on a 59K I received was 10.3K one pay.

That is what I thought to… but I went to 3 different Ford dealers and they all told me the same.

Sounds like Ford doesn’t do it, but I still think they’re wrong. Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, Lexus, Jeep, etc all pass along the $7500 rebate. I’m surprised Ford doesn’t, unless their cars no longer qualify for it.

Speculating here but Ford’s Corp strategy has never really turned the levers in favor of leasing & has almost always turned those levers in favor of financing.

Ford Motor Credit is a highly profitable segment of the company & the primary reason Ford didn’t file bankruptcy when others did.

Was this on the dealer’s page or corporate Jeep page?

How did you get the $11,500 rebate ?

I’m guessing $7,500 is the Federal EV credit, but can you share details on the remaining $4,000

The breakdown is in the 3rd post in this thread.

The 2500 lease bonus cash may be zip code dependent as I don’t see it for mine?

The good folks at Edmunds are telling me a 24 month lease is not supported… only 27. Anyone know what’s up with that?

According to one of the posts in the most recent ā€œSignedā€ thread it was a program change and the lessor decided to offer a 27 month option and discontinue the 24 month program.
