The car had minor cosmetic damage to the rear listed in carfax and noted when I signed and so far driven about 75 miles by me, no issues. It’s all covered under warranty so if something does go wrong, I’ll be ok.
We’ve seen a dealer mention before that cars can be grandfathered beyond 5k.
I think one possibility is a service loaner that’s been in one customer’s possession for a long time. You never know what mileage it might come back with (even with a daily 100m limit I’ve seen some times)
I know. The comment was to @Electric. Deal didn’t get the “bad” RV. @Orangeman96 put it there for giggles I suppose. Car also got all rebates and it wasn’t all dealer discount as insinuated.
My dealer is stingy…50 miles per day.
Nice deal… What car is this replacing? The Infiniti? The Nissan? The X2? The Jeep? I’m losing track.
It’s interesting to see this and hope to exploit it some day on a 5-7.5K loaner. Maybe get in under RV enough to get a wear package thrown in and go bumper car mode!
LOL the Murano has been returned to Infiniti.
The X2 is in middle of lease swap.
The Jeep Cherokee and BMW 430xi will remain.
Phew!!!
We’re all done. Until we’re not, lol…
It’s funny I thought about asking for all weathers or something else extra but the deal was so nice I just clammed up.
Leave that stuff to the birds.
Besides. You’re leasing. What are you going to do with all-weather mats for a car you won’t have in two years?
Not OP, but you are right. I am trying hard, but after buying and babying cars all my life, it is hard to let go.
If they want a nice lease return, they should throw them in in the first place! Consider it normal wear and tear. (still bitter I didn’t get any mats on my new lease lol)
Mine came with all weather mats actually but it was actually on the sticker, so I guess they’re residualized…
I got such a steep discount that I didn’t really care, lol. I will say they do come in handy!
I had a voucher I ended up using for all weather liners on my most recent leases, my plan is to most likely sell them after the fact if I don’t get another compatible vehicle. The resale on that stuff usually isn’t bad. I “paid” 300 for the set with a coupon and I’ll probably be able to get at least 100 for the set in a couple of years.
I have to say after 200 miles with the 430xi gc I’m very impressed, it’s not the 450, but that 4 liter hauls in sport/sport + mode. It’s super smooth.
What 4 liter?
Two 430i running side by side?
I assume he meant 4 banger.
My F30 didn’t come with Mats at all. I checked the entire car and the mats where nowhere to be found. Wasn’t a loaner either. Brand new car.
Not sure what they did with them but the salesman went to the back and pull the OEM all season rubber mats off a 7 series lol. The rear mats were huge. Apologized and ordered me a set of weather techs. Took alittle over a month to come in but I eventually got them.
Was a nice gesture from the salesman and dealership .
Yes 4banger…
