I am new to lease game. So what are we supposed to do? Tell dealers we expect certain monthly payment with zero down and ask if they can do it?

There are plenty of topics on this site on the different ways to make offers, but generally…

Move to a strategy of making offers.

Plug the following into the LH calculator after MSRP of the vehicle you’re looking at:

Selling price based on % pre-incentive discount found by searching Shared Deals and Marketplace sections of this forum.

RV, MF and incentives (lease cash) from Rate Findr. Add any extra rebates you qualify for (college grad, etc) under incentives.

DMV fees and taxes based on your state’s official website.

Voila! Now check the box to make it $0 DAS and offer the resulting monthly payment*

  • preferably rounded to a multiple of $5 or $10 to make yourself seem more like a normal person :innocent:

ID and WA have different rates. If you are getting 9% off MSRP in WA, then your deal would beat this deal.

The one I am looking at has MSRP - $74,345 and has $2,024 + $1500 + $7500 discount hence the price is $63321. But they are saying discounts are applied and hence residual value of $47,880.80 total lease payments are coming out as $16,958.40 + taxes (10%).

So you need 74,345 + Up to $7000 + $1500 + $7500 so you need to negotiate that $2024 to something much higher.

Yeah that make sense and after talking to dealer here that seems very hard for now. I am trying to find other dealers as well nearby states like OR, ID but not sure if we can lease cars from out of state dealers.

Curious what area you’re shopping in. I’m in southeastern Washington hearing similar from the dealer here.

You can. Doesn’t need to be in state.

I am looking around Seattle area.

Same, also looking for a Wind EV9 lease deal. Quotes from Seattle area dealers isn’t exciting at all. Costco pricing also doesn’t seem appealing.

I’m in PA and looking for similar deal. Can you forward me that dealer ?
