Just signed the 2025 EX30 Dual performance AWD Ultra trim lease in Texas. This is going to be our 3rd car and we needed to find a smaller size to fit in our 3-car garage.
24 months/7.5k
The negotiated number was $430 per month with $0 down and $0 drive off.
First lease payment on Volvo, so effective payment is = $430x23/24=$412.08 zero drive off
Includes wash and detail plan as well as lease-end protection plan that covers up to $5000 of wear and tear, including dings, tires, and wheels.
I value a car wash at $40 monthly, as I pay that $ on another car and would have added this car anyway there + lease protection was offered at $50 monthly, which I negotiated to $15. While I budgeted for the former, I didn’t need the latter, but was ok for that price. Hence, taking $55/month as the value.
Sales tax credit to make it $1.2%
Also asked NACS to CCSI adapter, which is $250+, to be included to use at Tesla superchargers. Level 2 cable and adapters are also included. ($250 value or say $20 monthly, given that Level 2 with adapters must be standard)
GAP insurance is included as standard for Volvo financing, so no added value is considered for that.
Once I was there on the all-in monthly payment number, I asked the dealer to adjust the incentives, credits etc. in any way they wanted to get me to $430 monthly, and if that meant having the base lease at a further lower number so they could make money on protection and wash/detailing plan, I was 100% ok with it. It was the bottom line number that mattered to me.
Once I include the added value mentioned above, my net effective monthly payment = $412 - $55 - $20 = $337 Net Net Effective monthly payment.
I’ll try my best to reflect the numbers on the calculator with links later, but it looks like a good deal given how leases are tough to make work in Texas. Overall, I am happy with it and also glad that the dealer got to make some money on the extras.
Btw, let me just say one thing: 0-62 in 3.4 seconds is hard to beat!
Was quoted $425/$425 DAS, no MSDs on a 24/10k for a Plus Performance here in NJ, included 6mo Volvo Pull Ahead, Costco Exec, Loyalty, and A-Plan (B-$500), and a First Mo Payment Waiver (not sure how that works since they asked for first month, they would cut me a check for over mileage ~$1250 and they would install a tire I needed to replace and refinish 3 curbed wheels (don’t let your sister drive). Had to pass up, but nice to see I could’ve squeezed a little more.
This was a 2025 model, so it wasn’t eligible for the Costco bonus of $ 1,250 as that’s only for the 2026 EX30. Total lease cash discount was $8500 including $7500 Volvo and $1000 lease cash + $500 from my company-affinity rebate, and rest dealer-adjusted to make the numbers work.
I received the paperwork today, and it looks something like this -
sticker - $49260
Dealer installed (this incl. lease protection plan along with was & detail) - $780
Dealer discount - 10%
Gross Cap - $46176
Cap adjustment - $11074
Cap Credit - $11000
Adj Cap Cost - $35100
RV - 57%
1st month payment - $430; however, other credits given - $856 (total rebates and non-cash incentives - $11930) to offset the 1st month payment and more to get to the zero drive off, no down.
You are probably talking about the 2026 model, while this is on a 2025 MY. I believe the 26 model has a much higher RV, probably around 63% vs 56% here, for 24/10K. On the other hand, your quote was on a Plus trim vs. Ultra here. I noticed that there was much less room for the dealer to make it work on the MY26 Ultra model.
The taxes make leasing a pain in Texas, as we have to pay that on the entire selling price vs. on the lease amount you pay. I think $425 with zero drive off for MY26 would have been a good price.
