Thanks to @Vestito and Leasehakr in general, I learned so much about leasing within the past month – from calculating target price, finding and structuring good deals, to negotiating with dealerships.

After missing out a blowout AR deal, bitterness drove me to start searching for national inventory. Quickly and luckily I found this one in OK. It’s their last EV and has been sitting on lot for over 300 days. The AR leasesheet obtained earlier also became my best leverage. Without too much negotiation I agreed to the current numbers. Deal can be improved, for sure, but I am in need of a 7-seater rather urgently. And this is the car I want at the price I want.

Signed it after dealership confirmed in emails that they would cover and handle all CA registration fees, tax and processes. Dealership has good customer reviews across a few platforms so I am hoping things would go right :face_with_monocle:

Wanted to celebrate but with all the potential follow-up questions (cross-country shipping, CA registration, etc) I am gonna to have my eyes wide open and fingers crossed for a while :crossed_fingers:

Now can someone recommend a reliable shipper for moving the car from OK to SoCal? :delivery_truck: Much appreciated

I might have a lead to a similar deal: white SEL (MSRP 69K) with $7500 upfront dealer discount. One-pay for 24m/10k is slightly above 11k.

Texas dealer. Seems pretty transparent and easy to work with. While they say they can lease out-of-state, they don’t have e-sign or MavSign set up and were slow to respond when I needed them to confirm. The car has 147 miles on it after sitting on lot for over 300 days.

PM me for details if interested – would love someone here to snag it before April ends

Never mind. Just checked the dealer website and the unit is gone. Maybe that’s why they were slow to respond to me earlier.

Great deal, will be looking for something like this in about 8 months lol

Congrats! I think I saw the same deal online, I’ve been debating between leasing another EV9 and the I9. You are me 2 years ago, I’m in SoCal and needed a 7 seater too and kicked myself for missing out on a better deal on a higher trim by a day. I9 wasn’t out yet, but learned tricks and got the EV9 from a dealer in Kansas on a “hail sale” but the car had no damage. I have the person I used to ship my car that I highly recommend if you want.
