Signed a Hyundai Ioniq 5 Sel for $1350 one pay deal for 13 months. Msrp $49970.
After seeing the 13 month deals in the marketplace, i reached out to local dealers simply asking for a match. One of them agreed quickly . Super easy process , loved the car and happy to finally getting some of my tax dollars back
You could also use the PNO and ask for a One day permit to operate the vehicle for that single day to return to dealer Just remember that PNO can not be parked or driven on street or public parkings etc,
Can you share the contract by any chance? Been wondering how the incentives is taxed. Apparently tax on the whole $15,500 alone would be close to $1,300 so I wonder if only portion of it was taxed on
I reached out to 4 dealers in OC, no dice, one said there was an issue with the program and some deals were not going to be funded. Not sure if that was just some BS sales tactic though.
Donāt think you can return a car thatās not currently registered, at least not with any brands Iāve leased from before (which didnāt include Hyundai)
PNO in CA allows you to request a permit to move the car for one day⦠so driving it to return the lease will fall under the ONE DAY permit.
It is still registered just a PNO-to simplify, just return before the 12th month ends or try and extend the lease⦠I have a feeling they may allow but monthly would be based on an amount before all incentives etc Will find out as we go along the next 8-10 months I guess
Well, the question is whether Hyundai will accept PNO as a registration equivalent for return purposes. Alternative is to ground at the end of 12 months as you said.
Well thatās precisely what I was wondering. The room left for depreciation, tax and rent charge is like $600. If the whole $15,500 is taxed (less the fees) at 7.5% it would be ~$1,000ish in tax alone. Whatās the number of the Tax on Cap Reduction in your contract if you donāt mind sharing?
