The good news is these are still being used as loaners. I think November will be a better month.
More BS lol. But yep you canāt get deals on domestic in MI because they all advertise with employee discounts. A ton of people commit fraud to use them, but thatās a story for another day. Iād never risk my job or my freedom to save $40/month
Iād imagine a lot of people in that region works for GM so I somewhat understand why they advertise it that way locally.
Can you share the ability to use them if someone gives you one. Iām asking around, but I donāt want to put someone at risk. I assumed if they can get one to share that is ok?
Understand that point but the āwe ship nationwide every weekā line is a bit conflicting and should instead clarify the employee only part.
Are you a GM/Stellantis employee? If the answer is no, then using the pin is fraud. The likelihood of you as the end user getting in trouble is probably lower, but thatās for your risk tolerance.
Ah, I was referencing the Supplier code. I think I got confused. Either way I wouldnāt want someone else getting into trouble if they gave me a supplier code. Not worth 2k.
Looking for some advice about how to approach a discount. Found a vehicle with a -6250 off the sticker (EV discount) Itās also a loaner. Thereās Costco discount. That can be applied
Normally Iād ask for a % off a vehicle before discount. The response has been that the vehicle is already discounted. I want to word things respectfully and be helpful in on structuring a deal. Would you point out that you want a discount off MSRP before the EV credit is applied, and then start discussing a loaner discount?
Iām not seeing a way to get a crazy deal without an off sticker discount and stacking an EV + loaner discount.
Supplier code is fine. I thought you meant GM employee. Be wary though most people with codes sell them for a price. For example, you can get a GM employee discount for roughly $750-1k, which in turn saves you a lot more than that. Like I said before tho, that is fraud, and I do not recommend or advocate for anyone to do that.
Supplier, to my knowledge, is fine and legal
Thanks. Iām not getting involved with an employee discount. Itās just not worth it. Too much to lose in my opinion if things go sour. No one needs a Hummer
There are basically two options for negotiating a lease. Negotiate the discount+MF or negotiate the bottom line monthly at $0 DAS/one pay amount. If the dealer is not receptive to negotiating one way you can try the other.
Presumably you are shopping the deal, not so much the car? If so, you can use the data here to triangulate whatās achievable, compare your rebates and then back into the discount. For a demo with the CTP rebate 10-12% seems realistic.
Correct. Hummer seems super fun. SUV or sut Iām not picky other than wanting the ev3. Admittedly Iām not being to aggressive in my search. Trying to stay reasonably local or have an option to ship. I think patience will pay off.
Can someone confirm the actual rebate amount for a loaner this month? Dealer is saying one thing and Iāve seen a few different amounts listed here.
I was reading 4k at dealers discretion, but Iām not an expert.
Do you all factor in the taxes for your deals? If your quoting $700/Mo is that with taxes? Just want to make sure Iām comparing apples to apples.
hello - i read the thread but still confused. Im in texas in market for SUV.
how much additional dealer incentive is there on a 2x loaner versus 3x loaner? im open to 2024 or 2025 but figured a 2024 loaner 2x would hands down provide the best deal and better chance to get to $500-600 payment with Zero DAS.
I do not think itās feasible to assume you are going to be able to lease a $100k vehicle for $500-600 a month with $0dasā¦
Maybe in some states, but definitely not in Texas
I would recommend checking out broker deals in the Marketplace to get an idea of what type of SUV you can get for $600 with $0 DAS. Spoiler alert - It wonāt be a Hummer.
FWIW, in Texas you get charged full tax on the sale price of a leased vehicle. From time to time, dealers might offer tax credits on EVs. I would suggest readjusting your expectations.
